These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Video Network website and services (the “Platform”), operated by Media Partnership Ltd trading as Video Network (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About us
Video Network is an online directory that connects clients with videographers. We are a brand of Media Partnership Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 05594791), with its registered office at Northern Design Centre, Gateshead, NE8 3DF.
2. Our role
Video Network is a platform that helps clients discover videographers and contact them directly. We are not a party to any agreement, booking or contract made between a client and a videographer. We do not employ, represent, endorse or guarantee any videographer listed on the Platform, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of any services arranged through it. Any agreement you enter into is strictly between you and the other party.
3. Using the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit a listing. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login details secure, and to use the Platform lawfully and in line with these Terms. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
4. Videographer listings
If you list on the Platform, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, for holding any licences, insurance and permissions your work requires, and for delivering the services you agree with clients. You must not post content that is misleading, unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion.
5. Enquiries and messaging
The Platform lets clients and videographers message one another. You agree to use messaging respectfully and only for genuine enquiries. Spam, harassment and unsolicited marketing are not permitted, and we may apply limits or restrictions to protect users. We may monitor messages to keep the Platform safe.
6. Fees
Using Video Network to search, view listings and contact videographers is free for clients. Basic listings for videographers are free. We may offer paid or promotional features, such as boosted or featured listings; where we do, the terms and duration of those features will be made clear to you.
7. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and promote it in connection with operating and marketing the Platform. All Platform branding, design and software remain our property or that of our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Platform, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping data, uploading malicious code, impersonating others, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any videographer will meet your requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss arising from your use of the Platform or from any dealings between clients and videographers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users or to the Platform.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
